Built in collaboration with Google, Lenovo and World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF), and Singaporean artist Brian Gothong Tan, Into the Wild transforms over 1000 square metres of ArtScience Museum’s public spaces into a virtual rainforest, explored using a smartphone device. The virtual adventure becomes a reality – by planting a virtual tree, accompanied with a pledge to WWF, a real tree will be planted in a rainforest in Indonesia.

You’ve probably noticed a bunch of magnificent sculptures while walking along Orchard Road – now’s your chance to soak in more of these impressive artworks and sculptures by Manolo Valdes at Opera Gallery. The award-winning artist conceptualized and created monumental sculptures for the prestigious Place Vendôme in Paris and showcased his epic pieces in the parks and gardens of major cities.

Embracing Diversity, an art exhibition, celebrates the multiculturalism and inclusiveness of the nation by featuring three different artistic styles of varying mediums by Singaporean artists. The artworks explore themes of reality by Lok Kerk Hwang, masculinity by Rofi and gentility by Pricilla Lim that create opportunities for inner reflections and outward conversations.

Specially created for Science Centre, by the world’s leading creator of mirror mazes, the Professor Crackitt Light Fantastic mirror maze promises an immersive experience like no other. Candy Factory Projects is a platform for international collaborative art projects led by visual artist and curator Takuji Kogo. As part of Archifest, children aged 8 – 12 get to play architects as they are given a fictional urban plot to design and build their own imaginative buildings, which together, form a city. Guided by architectural practitioners and students, the workshop encourages children’s creativity and utilises hands-on learning as they transform their ideas into models.
