Slated to open at Downtown Gallery this coming June, The Work Project is a 15,000 sqf  co-working space that aims to provide a conducive and wholesome environment for its users. Word around town is that they have even collaborated with The Providore and famous Omotesando Koffee from Tokyo! However, what stands out is the interior design.

“The beauty of The Work Project is that it’s a hybrid of comfortable small scale relax spaces, larger lounge spaces, as well as intimate zones where you can take your phone calls and check your emails. There will also be a pantry in the center of the space; we're trying to create this welcoming, comfortable yet sophisticated experience so people can come in and have a meeting, they’ll have a conversation and hang out," says Paul Semple of Hassell Studio, who designed the space.

Expect 15 focus rooms/small meeting rooms that members can use on an unlimited basis. There will also be clusters of mobile hot desks and a large, long communal meeting table. "The Work Project has also invested in very good quality furniture. For example, the chairs used are supposedly the best ergonomic chairs in the world. ," says founder of The Work Project, Junny Lee.

“Conceptually with this design, what we are trying to achieve is that you walk into this space and you feel like you can accomplish anything. You’re the best version of yourself and this is a space where your dreams can come true," says Junny.
