WIN: Ikea x Virgil Abloh rug and more limited edition designer rugs at Ikea Art Event 2019
By Home & Decor Team -
The 2019 Ikea Art Event (its fifth one so far) is giving Ikea Family members a chance to win limited edition rugs, designed by eight popular artists and designers and handmade by artisans in India and Egypt. A total of 16 rugs can be won.
The rug that is making headlines is the "Keep Off" rug by Virgil Abloh. Virgil is the Men’s artistic director at Louis Vuitton and the founder of fashion brand Off-White. Nine pieces of the "Keep Off" rug will be up for grabs.
Virgil Abloh’s rug is an ironic take on "overbearing parents who protect the furniture at nearly any cost", says Ikea.
Other designers include Filip Pagowski (his design, pictured), a Polish graphic artist who has worked with Comme Des Garcons and The New Yorker, as well as Craig Green (UK), Seulgi Lee (South Korea), Noah Lyon (USA), and Supakitch (France).
All you need to do is fill up the ballot form in-stores and tell Ikea why you want to win the rug. No spend is required.
