This year’s Amazon Prime Big Deal Days is set for an entire week: Tuesday, 7th October, through Monday, 13th October 2025. This week-long event is essentially Amazon’s second big blowout sale of the year (the first being Prime Day in July), and it’s a massive chance to grab some proper bargains.

When it comes to Amazon Singapore, “promo codes” aren’t released in a predictable, permanent way. Amazon SG tends to release promo codes in large batches during Amazon Prime Day (July), Amazon Prime Big Deal Day (October), Black Friday (28 Nov 2025), and 11.11.

They often have an introductory offer for first-time shoppers, sometimes an instant discount or a voucher after registration. Also, “Today’s Deals” section is updated daily with a rotating list of Lightning Deals and limited-time offers that are available to all shoppers, with Prime members often getting a 30-minute head start.

Think of it as a huge early Christmas shopping bonanza, exclusively for Prime members.

The biggest draw is getting a head start on your holiday shopping. You can tick off a lot of names on your list months before the December madness. No need to wait for Black Friday (28 Nov) or Cyber Monday (1 Dec)!

Ok so, prior to the Big Deal Days, I’ve had the pleasure to look through all the home and technology Amazon Prime Big Deal Day deals and here are the top products with the most discounts (most value for money purchases, lah!). You’re very welcome.

Tineco Floor One S5 Steam - Wet and Dry Vacuum

This machine is a powerful multi-tasker, designed to vacuum, mop, and steam hard floors all in one go, which is a brilliant time-saver for anyone with tiled or wood floors. Its main selling point is the high-temperature steam function, which melts away sticky, set-on messes and grease while simultaneously sanitising your floor without the need for harsh chemicals.

It’s equipped with the iLoop Smart Sensor, meaning the machine cleverly detects how dirty the floor is and automatically adjusts the suction and water flow for an efficient clean.

Crucially, as this is the corded model, you get unlimited runtime, which is ideal for larger houses where you don’t want to worry about the battery dying halfway through the lounge.

However, I think this Tineco model does come with a few trade-offs. The cord, while ensuring endless power, means you’ll be tethered to a plug socket and have to contend with winding it up afterwards. It’s also a bit of a chunky machine and doesn’t fully recline, so you’ll struggle to get it far under low furniture like sofas or cabinets.

Although the included self-cleaning feature is fantastic for cleaning the brush roller with steam and preventing that common “wet-mop smell,” you must be disciplined and immediately empty and rinse the dirty water tank after every use.

Shark Steam Mop S1000

If you’re after a quick, simple solution for clean floors, this is a very popular choice, but it’s certainly more “basic” than the Tineco we were looking at (above).

I think the Shark Steam Mop S1000’s biggest strength is its sheer simplicity and lightweight design. It heats up incredibly fast—we’re talking under 30 seconds—so it’s ready to go almost instantly.

You only use water, so it’s brilliant for sanitising floors without leaving any chemical residue behind (ideal for homes with kids or pets).

It’s also very light and easy to manoeuvre thanks to its swivel head, and the washable Dirt Grip pads mean your running costs are low. Crucially, its compact size means it’s a doddle to store, even in a small flat or cupboard.

However, I think Shark Steam Mop S1000 is a victim of its own simple design success. It is an on-demand steam mop, meaning you have to constantly pump the handle to release the steam. This can be quite tiring, and it’s a common user complaint.

Also, I noticed the 5.49m cord is a bit short for larger rooms, forcing you to frequently unplug and switch sockets, which is a bit of a chore!

Philips 8000 Series Steam Iron

If you’ve ever struggled with damp laundry or musty-smelling rooms (and let’s be honest, that’s pretty much everyone in Singapore), this compact DeLonghi AriaDry Light DNS65 Dehumidifier could be a game-changer. It can remove up to 6 litres of moisture per day at 32 degrees and 80% humidity, which is impressive for its small footprint.

I particularly like that it’s not just a dehumidifier. It also has an ioniser that releases negative ions to freshen the air, plus an antibacterial filter to help reduce dust and bacteria. Philips Hue Lightstrip Plus v4

This is one cool lighting strip I’ve been eyeing for a while. It’s seriously bright (up to 1700 lumens), meaning it’s great for creating ambient light behind your TV or under kitchen cabinets. Being part of the Hue ecosystem, it offers a fantastic range of accurate colours and white light, and it integrates seamlessly with everything: Alexa, Google Assistant, and Apple HomeKit.

For this v4 version, they added Bluetooth, so you can use it straight out of the box with your phone without needing the Hue Bridge - though adding the Bridge gives you the full potential for automations and controlling lights when you’re out of the house. Plus, the ability to cut and then reuse the leftover strip is a welcome improvement—no wastage!

However, I have always thought the price is the main stumbling block for the Hue strips. They are so expensive - and you should buy them in bulk when they’re on sale.

Online users commonly complain about the rubbish adhesive backing, so you might need to reinforce it with your own double-sided tape, especially in humid conditions like Singapore.

RENPHO Foot Massager Machine

To my colleagues reading this, you can get this for my Christmas present. I need a spa for my poor trotters.

The air compression system seems fantastic, as it squeezes your whole foot (like a blood pressure cuff) and pushes the soles firmly down onto the deep kneading Shiatsu rollers.

It’s also highly customisable, with three levels each for the kneading and the air intensity, so you can choose between a gentle relaxation or a proper deep-tissue crush. Plus, the removable, washable foot liners are a massive bonus for keeping things hygienic, especially if the whole family fancies a go.

However, I read there are a few common online complaints you should be aware of. The biggest one is usually the heat function; despite having three levels, many users report that the heat is quite minimal or only takes a very long time (like 20 minutes) to feel slightly warm, so don’t expect a powerful foot warmer.

Reviews also share that the massager mainly focuses on the arch and middle of the foot, often missing the very tips of the toes and the full heel area, which can be a letdown if those are your main pain points. Lastly, while the high compression setting is great, it can be too intense for some people, and there’s no in-between option—it jumps quite drastically from medium to maximum power.

In a nutshell, they are almost identical sales, but they happen at different times of the year and have slightly different goals.
