For Mohammad Zain and Sharon Park, their 4-room HDB executive Maisonette in Pasir Ris was never just going to be another renovation project. The partnership between Zain and Lawrence Puah, design director of Akihaus, evolved from a long-standing client relationship into a collaborative artistic venture. Throughout the lower floor, distressed handcrafted walnut flooring tells a story of artisanal dedication, each plank carefully selected and finished to create a foundation of organic beauty.
