With the largest surface areas in the home being the walls and floors, choosing the right materials for these areas can make or break the overall look. Aside from just aesthetics, be mindful of options that are functional and durable, too, such as vinyl flooring, which fulfil both requirements. What makes the Pergo vinyl flooring collection so easy to install?
Thanks to Pergo’s new manufacturing process and click-joint system called PerfectFold-V, installation is simple – just work the vertical and horizontal locking systems, and fold the tile down or snap it in place. The double locking mechanism gives the floor unique stability by just clicking them together. This also eliminates the need for transition profiles for installation next to doors, while ensuring there is no height differences or open joints.

What makes the material so durable?
Pergo vinyl floors are designed with a protective top layer — TITAN V Optimum — that seals the surface, offering improved resistance against staining and soiling, and protects against scratches. It is also easy to clean and remains hygienic, as dirt cannot penetrate the floor.
For maintenance, Pergo suggests using the Pergo vinyl floor cleaner, which helps remove dirt, grease spots and heel marks on the surface. It can also be used for daily cleaning.

Is the material safe for use at home?
Of course! There are no phthalates used in the manufacturing of vinyl flooring, which results in very low volatile organic compound (VOC) emissions for Pergo’s collection.
How many designs are there in the Pergo vinyl flooring collection?
Inspired by the natural look and feel of wood, slate and concrete, there are 40 designs to choose from to suit the various interior styles. With a selection of travertine-, oxidised metal- to wood-look finishes with textural surfaces, you’ll be spoilt for choice!
