Sprinkle baking soda on floors before vacuuming; this absorbs smell from both carpet/floor as well as the vacuum. Essential oils will leave a fresh scent, too.
Clean surfaces (except for wood and delicate surfaces) with an orange cleaner; place the peels in a sealable container filled with vinegar. Wait a day and strain.
Remove melted wax from a candleholder easily, by coating the base of the holder with coconut oil. Any dripped wax will then be easy to wipe off.
