This beautiful 2,900 sq ft (269 sqm) apartment, designed by Gerard Faivre, is situated in the heart of Paris on a wide, tree-lined avenue. But besides its picturesque views over Avenue Marceau and the iconic Arc de Triomphe, its dreamy and ethereal interiors captivate with soft colours, luxurious textures, contemporary art pieces and specially selected furniture.
In the entrance foyer, Tom Dixon Etch pendant lamps project interesting diffused shadows, while the Bisazza Vienna mosaic “carpet” inlaid into the original parquet flooring is a Marrakech-inspired design element.
Contemporary design elements
The designer preserved the history and beauty of the Haussmann apartment, maintaining the flooring, mouldings, ceiling heights and period fireplaces. But he introduced contemporary design elements, for a look that balances modern luxury and old world charm.
Ethereal interior design
The apartment features a subtle silvery-grey colour palette, and has an ethereal theme inspired by the sky and earth.
Ceilings of the living room and lounge are painted in a pattern of a cloudy sky, while contemporary jewellery-like chandeliers and plush rugs with abstract patterns ground the spaces.
TV lounge
The TV lounge is furnished with oval-shaped glass coffee tables, sleek sofas, as well as wall and pendant lamps that have designs that combine raw materials and precious metals.
A marble fireplace and alcove daybed are unique features of the room.
Parisian Kitchen
Within the confines of this Parisian apartment, the kitchen emerges as a captivating testament to ethereal design, captivating onlookers with its sophisticated charm and subtle opulence. The focal point of this culinary haven is undoubtedly the beige granite island counters, seamlessly blending functionality with ethereal design aesthetics.
The kitchen, with counters clad in elegant beige granite, opens with sliding laminated glass doors and segues into the dining room.

The ethereal design ethos is immediately evident in the choice of materials, as the beige granite island counters serve as a luxurious canvas that effortlessly marries natural elegance with modern functionality.
The smooth, polished surface of the counters reflects a gentle luminosity, amplifying the ethereal ambiance within the kitchen space.
The ethereal design concept is further accentuated by the thoughtful integration of soft, muted tones throughout the kitchen. Subtle hues of cream and ivory dance along the cabinetry, creating a harmonious interplay of colors that contribute to the overall ethereal atmosphere.

Sahrai Helix rug
Mirrors on either side of the dining room create infinite reflections, multiplying the brightness and airiness of the space. The blue and white Sahrai Helix rug with a dreamy print stylishly clashes with the dining chairs that are upholstered in a Dedar Silkyway Bermude modern ikat printed fabric.
Luxury bedroom design
The three suites feature luxurious, soothing settings, each with its own dressing room and bathroom. The designer played with colours, mixing grey and blue on the surfaces, furniture and soft furnishings, and added pops of colour through the artwork.
Spacious and bright, the master suite is decked out with Dedar Quartz wallpaper by Hermes, a Molteni & C Fulham bed and armchair, vintage lamps, and various paintings.
Mosaic feature wall
Its made-to-measure dressing room is fitted out in Boffi wardrobe systems, and has an eye-catching black Bisazza O.P mosaic feature wall.
The intricate patterns and reflective surface of the mosaic create a visual symphony, elevating the bathroom into a realm of unmatched sophistication. The play of light and shadow on the mosaic adds a layer of dynamism, contributing to the overall ethereal ambiance.
Dark bathroom design
A black theme permeates the master bathroom, which is fitted out in glossy Boffi counters, and dark stone and mosaic.
