1-Michelin Key award in 2026

Having barely celebrated its first anniversary, the hotel has already secured a place among global hospitality royalty by earning a 1-Michelin Key award in the 2026 Michelin Guide for Hotels.

Much like its famed restaurant stars, the Michelin Key honours hotels that offer an exceptionally distinctive stay, celebrating properties with unique personality, seamless service, and a profound connection to their surroundings.

Architecture

The design story of Andaz One Bangkok is deeply entwined with the history of its location. Drawing direct inspiration from the rich heritage of Wireless Road (once home to Thailand’s very first radio telegraph station) the hotel was conceived around the concept of a “Vertical Neighbourhood”.

The architecture and interiors seamlessly translate Bangkok’s famed soi (alleyway) culture into multi-layered vertical spaces.

Central to the hotel’s interior narrative is its permanent art collection, titled “The Glocal Witthayu.” Curated to bridge local Thai heritage with global sensibilities, the collection features monumental works by four celebrated Thai female artists, offering guests an immersive cultural journey throughout the hotel grounds.

As the city prepares for the Bangkok Art Biennale (BAB) 2026, running from 29 October 2026 to 28 February 2027, visitors may be keen to drop by the hotel to check out these four artworks, too.

Threaded together with stainless steel bars using traditional craft techniques akin to garland-making (phuang malai) and bead stringing, the installation explores the identity of raw local materials and the artisans who shape them.
