Other Architecture Firms
The Batam Opus Bay Balmoral Tower was designed by Singapore-based RT+Q Architects. The tower features a sleek, high-rise glass-and-concrete facade punctuated by sky terraces and private balconies. Structural engineering for the high-rise was conducted by Davy Sukamta & Partners.
Opus Bay Cluny Resorts was designed by ONG&ONG. The villas take inspiration from high-end tropical holiday hideaways, blending natural timber, stone, and floor-to-ceiling glass to integrate indoors with private pools and landscaped gardens.

Marina Bay Ferry Cove
Opus Bay is located in the Sekupang district along Batam’s western coast (Waterfront City, Jl. K.H. Ahmad Dahlan) and will have its own private ferry terminal, Marina Bay Ferry Cove. It is a 3-minute walk to Balmoral Tower Batam hotel, enabling direct 45-minute transfers from Singapore’s HarbourFront ferry terminal.

Sekupang District of Batam
Historically, Sekupang has been a quieter, industrial, and residential zone compared to Batam’s bustling commercial centers like Nagoya or Batam Centre.
Opus Bay transforms Sekupang into a high-end Special Economic and Tourism Hub. By capturing high-net-worth weekenders, expats, and foreign buyers from Singapore, the project acts as a catalyst for local employment, international school investments, healthcare expansion, and regional tourism revenue.
Initially launched in 2021, early phase targets anticipated earlier completions. Like many regional mega-developments post-2020, construction and phase openings encountered extended timelines, moving the official hotel opening to December 2026 and villas and retail to early 2027
