Wood Laminate Door
The oak wood-laminate doors of the shoe cabinet was specially designed with a gap between them, to blend into the strip of space in the false ceiling. This lends a sense of continuity from the wall to the ceiling.

Storage Cabinet
A vertical slot at the end of the storage cabinet provides a discreet space for stashing tall items such as magazines.

TV Feature Wall
The wall behind the TV is in ash grey, to blend in with the brown, black and grey colour palette of the home.

Quartz Kitchen Countertop
The dry kitchen is kept simple with an island top made of quartz marble.

Built In Bookshelf
The bookshelves in the study area were inspired by Piet Mondrain's colourful works on composition and grids. "I has the backing painted a deep nlue to make the shelves 'pop', says Joey.

Bay Window Storage
Khaki-brown wallpaper is used for the upper part of the wall in the master bedroom, and wood-look laminate for the lower portion, for contrast. Storage cabinets have also been built into the bay window area.

Vanity Table
Thoughtfully designed features include the dressing table, which comes with a flip-up mirror, so that when closed, the surface can be used as a writing desk. It also has a compartment one end of the desk to store items such as perfumes.
