The owners of this three-bedroom condominium apartment approached Space Factor to help them create a sophisticated-looking home. They also emphasised the importance of a simple, uncluttered space for the family.

Working with an $80,000 budget, the interior designers at Space Factor reworked the unit to appear larger, brighter and more luxurious.

Strong lines were key to emphasising the length of the living room. This is why the floor tiles and cove lighting, together with the placement of the living room furniture, all follow the same linearity. This perspective helps to visually elongate the space.

The interior designer hacked away part of the kitchen walls and replacing the original cabinetry with white laminated ones to help the surfaces reflect light better.

Plenty of work was done to the master bedroom’s en-suite toilet so that it would follow the theme of the home. Here, textured cream-coloured flooring was paired with wood-lookalike cabinetry. Plenty of mirrors and glass was used in the space to make it appear larger.
