Home Tour: 3-Bedroom condo with plenty of Work From Home (WFH) spaces for a large family
The key to this sleek apartment was using wood panelling and dark-tinted mirrors.

When you're a family with three children, having sufficient storage space is essential for maintaining a tidy home.
That was Madam Ong's priority when she approached Kelvin Bing of Renaissance Planners and Designers to design and renovate the family's three-bedroom condominium apartment.
Functionality was paramount, so they wanted to reconfigure the layout of the apartment for better spatial flow and interconnectedness in addition to the need for concealed storage space.
Since space was limited, Kelvin and his team made use of vertical elements such as panelled walls and dark-tinted mirrors provide concealed storage while lending the apartment a stylish boutique-hotel vibe.

WFH Setup
Spatial planning helped to ensure that everyone in the family had their own space to work and study during the pandemic.
One of the first things Kelvin did was to remodel the layout for the dining and kitchen area, introducing a suspended island worktop that flows from one space to the other.

The worktop pulls double duty as a study area for the kids during e-lessons at home.
Kelvin also took the opportunity to integrate a niche into the wall that serves as both display space and storage for spices and condiments.
