This bright and airy condo oozes minimalist style with its all-white interior design.

After purchasing the condo, the bachelor spent $235,000 (including furnishings) to renovate the space into his dream home under the guidance of interior designer Caff Ong, senior home stylist at Pure Interiors. While an all-white color scheme can seem sterile, Ong expertly layered textures, materials, and shades to create warmth and depth throughout the condo's open concept layout.

Besides the single-colour scheme, the interior designer also had to be mindful of the owner's preference for an open-concept kitchen and a walk-in wardrobe in the bedroom - all of which he successfully pulled off in this renovation.

At first glance, the entire apartment looks like a pristine snowscape. Closer inspection, however, reveals subtle differences in the textures of the furnishings and feature walls.

Minimalist aesthetic

The living room, dining room, and kitchen share one continuous space characterized by clean lines, minimal clutter, and a neutral white interior design. At first glance, the condo looks like a pristine snowscape. But closer inspection reveals subtle differences in textures like the soft leather dining chairs and nubby throw pillows that add cozy elements. Statement pieces like the black tiled wall provide visual interest against the white minimalist backdrop.

White textures

While unified in its minimalist white interior design color scheme, the condo gains visual interest through varied white textures. Plush white chairs, and white rattan surfaces provide depth without detracting from the peaceful white interior design.

The black counter and red bar stools add organic contrast.

Using white as a base colour in the bedroom makes the black decorative details stand out even more. The black and white-striped wall covering behind the bed, for instance, is another bold yet simple and elegant choice.

Black and white for bold contrast

In the bedroom, white walls and bedding create a soothing oasis. The interior designer layered in black and white accents like the striped feature wall behind the bed for bold contrast. Adding visual interest are the red lamp stands and a hanging light fixture. A customized walk-in closet provides plenty of storage space.

In total, the bachelor spent $235,000 to bring his white and minimalist vision to life in this condo. Ong skillfully balanced the white interior design with natural textures and materials to craft a luxurious, welcoming home. The neutral base provided the perfect canvas to layer in visual interest through patterns, textures, metals, and woods.

This condo is a study in using an all-white color scheme to create a space that feels anything but sterile. The white interior design manages to feel both relaxing and chic.
