Home Tour: A bachelor's modern condominium in Novena inspired by Taiwanese interior design
A beautiful house from our 2016 archives...
This sleek modern condominium apartment in Novena is designed by Matthew Lai, director of Studio XMSL, for a bachelor who loves contemporary Taiwanese interior design with clean lines and thoughtful use of color.
Sleek modern interior design
The sleek modern dining room is centered around a custom 10-seat glass-top dining table designed by interior designer, Matthew. Executed in warm oak and walnut with simple marquetry detailing, the table exudes warmth and masculinity. The same combination of wood is repeated in the two bookcases flanking the table that house the homeowner's Asian art, architecture miniatures and other collectibles.
