The occupants of this bungalow had quite a few pieces of Early American furniture, which they wanted to combine with contemporary comforts. And being in Singapore, they also wanted to add some oriental touches to the decor scheme.

While the rest of the house is in cool pastels, the dining room has a strong red Chinese rug that enlivens the warm wood tones of the furniture.

This bed has no headboard but see how the parted drapes frame the window to create a headboard effect? Here again pastels and lace combine to create a romantic bedroom.

The master bedroom: the Early American furniture harmonises with the doors. The lovely bedspread was made by the Navajo Indians of North America.
