This week we feature two three-bedroom apartments in Ardmore Park that are adjacent to each other, but with two completely different looks.

The owners of the first home are an American expat couple, who brought along their Early American antique bed and armchairs as well as some reproductions and accessories.

In this well-coordinated collection, the soft blue of the upholstery acted as a perfect foil.

Accessories have also been carefully selected to match the look, so that one feels this is a home in New England rather than cosmopolitan Singapore.

Cool grey with dashes of cherry red and black form the main colour scheme of the living room of this bachelor apartment.

The kitchen with its breakfast nook looks romantic with its see-through day curtains and Vienna chairs.

The kitchen has a pair of Italian contemporary chairs in a yellow lacquer finish. Geometrical patterned curtains make a strong statement compared to the adjacent apartment with its feminine look.
