But it's the lavish touches and bold pops of color that elevate this dungeon-inspired apartment into the extraordinary.

The spacious open kitchen is fit for a lavish feast. Stone-inspired wallpaper wrapping the beams commands an air of rustic grandeur above the sprawling island and L-shaped counters. Here the homeowners can indulge their culinary adventures amid the brooding medieval ambiance.

Just steps away, the living area invites relaxation amid sophisticated dungeon comforts. The showstopping tufted crimson sofa, adorned with plush Marilyn Monroe accent pillows, is an unexpected Hollywood glamour touch. This thrifty Taobao find contrasts beautifully with the deep red walls that evoke a sensuous, candlelit atmosphere.
As the master bathroom is quite small, the homeowners moved the vanity area out to the entrance of the bedroom, but screened it off to provide privacy.
