Step into this quirky industrial-style HDB flat and you're immediately greeted by bold pops of fire-engine red and jet black against a raw concrete backdrop. It's an eye-catching graphic mix that perfectly showcases the homeowner's vibrant personality and eclectic tastes.

The 1,560 square foot flat is a veritable gallery of the owner's favorite things, from pop art prints to inspirational quotes. Splashes of bold colour appear throughout, adding energetic accents to the cool grey industrial aesthetic.

The entire flat was filled with the homeowner's favourite items, such as this graphic of John Lennon and Yoko Ono. The "graffiti" on the wall was pasted on.

"I wanted the space to really reflect who I am - a creative spirit with a love of art, music, and individuality," explains the homeowner. Quirky artwork and decor abound, like the iconic image of John Lennon and Yoko Ono or the faux "graffiti" text applied directly to the walls. Inspirational quotes are stenciled or laser-cut, providing uplifting messaging amidst the edgy interior design.

The quotes on the walls will inspire everyone who steps into this home. The Acrylic panel exhorting creativity is from the homeowner's office, while the quote on the wall by Albert Einstein is laser-cut from sticker paper.

One standout piece is the acrylic panel exhorting creativity - relocated from the owner's former office to this new living space. Another is the famous Einstein quote "I have deep faith that the principle of the universe will be beautiful and simple." laser-cut from adhesive vinyl.

Using a string curtain instead of a solid door to partition off the ensuite bathroom makes the small masterbedroom look and feel more spacious. It also adds a seductive element.

The industrial-style HDB flat deftly blends functional design with personal expression. In the small master bedroom, a string curtain separates the sleeping area from the ensuite bathroom, creating a sense of spaciousness while adding a seductive element. The adjoining study serves as the owner's creative studio for sewing, with neat built-in storage keeping things organized.

The study room is where the homeowner does her sewing. The tools and fabrics are all stored neatly with the help of a good storage system.

Bold pops of colour

Pops of bold, saturated colour punctuate every room, providing energetic contrast to the raw, unfinished concrete, and wood surfaces. It's a perfect embodiment of the owner's colourful spirit - an urban industrial haven infused with imagination, inspiration and individuality.
