So when local architect firm Home Philosophy undertook this project to transform this 8,000sqf house into a home with touches of understated luxury and a modern classical look, they went all out to ensure that every detail was carefully attended to.

At the same time, the design had to take into account the local climate and weather. One of the first things the design team did was to create a grand entrance with double volume height. An enormous three-tier Baccarat chandelier with glittering ornaments sets the scene, accented by large slaps of white marble flooring.
