They also envisioned a backdrop drenched in vivid hues and bold textures."
Over $100,000 renovation cost
Transforming this four-room BTO into a cat-friendly home came at a cost of $90,000 for renovations, with an additional $15,000 invested in bespoke furniture and accents. Walls awash in violet and sunny yellow tones, complemented by charming cat-themed decals, forge a truly unique feline sanctuary.
Cat-friendly installations
The kitchen underwent a revamp tailored to the needs of this cat-friendly home. Part of the wall was demolished to "open up" the space, allowing for seamless interaction between domains. A clever touch sees the kitchen's structural pillar wrapped in thick hemp rope, dissuading curious cats from scratching its surface while adding textural intrigue.
Patchwork-style laminate
The kitchen cabinets themselves sport a patchwork-style laminate finish in an array of jewel tones, furthering the home's playful, eclectic, and undeniably cat-friendly aesthetic. No corner has been overlooked in creating a space to indulge their whiskered family members.

One former bedroom has been ingeniously converted into a feline haven - a designated grooming and recreation space. It is outfitted with planks, perches, and accessories akin to a mini animal "gym", complete with feeding stations and plush beds.
