Interior designer Irvin Mun of Free Space Intent expounds, "The owners desired to create a veritable playground for their cats to roam freely. They also envisioned a backdrop drenched in vivid hues and bold textures."

Over $100,000 renovation cost

Transforming this four-room BTO into a cat-friendly home came at a cost of $90,000 for renovations, with an additional $15,000 invested in bespoke furniture and accents. Walls awash in violet and sunny yellow tones, complemented by charming cat-themed decals, forge a truly unique feline sanctuary.

Part of the kitchen wall was torn down to “open up” the kitchen space. A structural pillar here is wrapped in thick hemp rope, which prevents the cats from scratching its surface.
