To create a European-influenced country look, Hall Interiors sourced for finishes that are close to pine wood. Solid pine wood would be unsuitable for the humid Singapore weather.
The beams conceal the tracks without lowering the ceiling, as well as meets the concept of exposed wood structures commonly seen in cottages.
The couple loves to host and cook, so they requested for a folding window. This way, they are able to interact with guests while preparing meals. Open shelving allows the display of vintage- and country-style accessories, giving the home a more authentic country-inspired look.
The homeowners and designer opted for decorative pull handles, white subway tiles and a wood-look countertop in the kitchen.
Two bedrooms were combined to create this spacious master suite. Open shelves separate the bedroom and study area, giving the couple the option of privacy and openness at the same time.
