This 2,152sqf apartment in Marina Bay Suites belongs to a family of six. As it is their weekend home, they wanted a cosy and laidback space.

Their designer, Jay Ang, erected a full-height mirror panel along one of the living room walls to give an illusion of space. The display shelves feature sliding doors, giving the owners the option of having open shelves in the dining or living room.

Jay removed the wall and door of the second bedroom to transform it into a family hall.

This simple and cosy space is where they watch television. Jay chose an American walnut timber finish for the feature wall.

Like the rest of the home, the rooms also feature a monochromatic grey palette.
