Designed by US-based interior design firm General Assembly, this family home in Brooklyn is spacious and airy.

Living Room
The General Assembly team combined the living room with the rear patio, and enlarged the kitchen on the bottom floor. Light, natural oak adds warmth to the all-white palette.

Brooklyn Designed Wallpapers
To imbue an essence of the creative Brooklyn neighbourhood, the design team sourced for materials such as tiles and wallpapers from local designers.

Peach Ombre Walls
Not everything is clad in white - we love the Ombre effect on the walls, whose orange tint went well with the bathroom's brass-finished fittings.

Under Staircase Storage
Need to squeeze in some storage? Under the staircase is always a good idea!

Black and White Floors
Black and white floor tiles, and a printed wallpaper, add visual interest to the master bedroom.

Black and White Wallpaper
With a monochromatic colour palette like this one, texture - whether in the form of pillowcases or flooring - adds depth to the design.

Second Bathroom
Minimalist, vintage-inspired fittings were chosen for the second bathroom.
