This apartment in Zhubei City, Taiwan has a colour palette of greys, whites and wood tones.

Designed by Taiwanese interior design firm Hguan Interior Design, the living room is spacious and designed understatedly. The designer and homeowners furnished it with furniture in a singular colour tone to match the concrete screed wall behind the TV.

The study area behind the living room lends a welcoming, cosy ambience thanks to the choice of finishing in a warm, wood tone.

Various niches are incorporated into the wall display shelving design, where the homeowners can showcase their collection of figurines and knick knacks.

There is dedicated space for every setting in this apartment, including the dining area, which can seat up to 6 people.

The lighting fixtures are positioned strategically to frame the living room space, while illuminating the interiors sufficiently.

The false celing above the study table is clad in wood finish to visually connect this space with the display shelvings behind.

The kitchen sits at the corner of the apartment, right next to the dining area. This way, odour from cooking does not immediately fill the entire home, while it is still convenient when entertaining guests and family.

For a restful ambience in the master bedroom as well as an overall holistic look, the homeowners chose a dark grey palette, complemented with wood finishes on the headboard and cupboard.
