Tatjana painted the living room's retro-style storage unit a lively green, and her artist friend Idris Johor added black woodgrain patterns. The metal suitcase underneath is a souvenir from Kathmandu. The kitschy pink flamingo completes the mesh of vigorous colour.

In the dining area, Baroque-inspired acrylic Ghost chairs by Philippe Starck are paired with a spare, retro-style dining table. A canary-yellow Chinese herb cabinet, which she bought from a friend who operates Fairprice Antique in Singapore, brightens up the room and provides convenient storage space.
