In the world of interior design, creativity can transform even the most compact spaces into stunning, functional homes. This remarkable home tour showcases how one homeowner reimagined her 4-room BTO interiors, turning a small footprint into a bright and spacious sanctuary.
Semi-open kitchen
“When I first saw the flat, it was very clear that I had to remove the wall between the kitchen and the dining area for a larger space,” says Lilian. This strategic decision immediately opened up the living area, creating a more expansive and inviting environment. Carefully curated framed art from Ode to Art adds personality and visual interest to the space, complementing the open-concept design.
L-shaped dining table
The heart of the home’s clever design lies in its multifunctional furniture. The fixed, L-shaped dining table is a true chameleon – serving not just as a dining surface, but also functioning seamlessly as a kitchen worktop and a versatile desk. “I use this L-shaped dining table when entertaining my guests, too,” Lilian explains, highlighting the space’s adaptability.
Red figurine deco
Attention to detail is evident in the room’s layout. The furniture placement and vinyl floor tiles from Tarkett work in perfect harmony to visually elongate the living room. Strategically positioned red figurines from Ode to Art provide striking accent points, breaking up the linear design and adding depth to the space.
Master Bedroom Deisgn
The bedroom received equally thoughtful treatment. Full-height mirrored doors for the master bedroom’s wardrobe create an illusion of expanded space, making the room feel significantly larger and more open. This clever BTO renovation technique maximizes both functionality and perceived square footage
$60,000 renovation cost
The entire transformation came with a budget of approximately $60,000, including furnishings. This 4-room BTO proves that with creativity and strategic planning, even the most compact spaces can become extraordinary homes.
