House Tour: Colourful furniture and classy finishes in this condominium at Bukit Timah
This 1,313sqf condominium apartment has colourful furnishings, complemented with a mix of textural materials.
The homeowners — a couple — engaged Charlton Design to dress up their home with rich colours, which they love.
A mix of new and old furniture lend the space character and practicality.
An interesting characteristic of the home is the choice of different colours for each room in the apartment, such as this turquoise-hued dining room.
The kitchen exudes a really warm ambience with the use of lots of wood tones, as well as a red brick-look wall that adds a striking look.
Recessed lightings on the ceiling and under the mirror cum storage cabinet help add to the cosy ambience.
"The rooms are designed with furniture that will not block any walkway. In every room, there will be sufficient space to walk through," shared the design team at Charlton Design.
Part of the $90,000 renovation went to incorporating of several conealed doors, which hide away private spaces and offer a very clean look in the home when all doors are shut.
