This two-floor condominium apartment in the East gets an overhaul that brings a slice of nature indoors. Designed by Formwerkz Architects, the sliding glass windows let the family enjoy the greenery in the comfort of an air-conditioned room, without having to worry about bugs bothering them.
Behind the open-plan living and dining area, is a wall of wood-panelled doors. The wood panelling is actually a textured veneer that designer Gwen selected to create a high-quality look while keeping within the budget.
The mini bar is concealed by wood-panelled doors that close flush with the wall. It is within easy reach of the dining table.
The kids' bedroom has a sweet pink and lavendar theme. Gwen made sure to provide adequate storage for toys to keep the space clutter-free. A grown-up wallpaper print balances the sweet pinks of the girls' room.
The master-bedroom is a boutique hotel-room-inspired sanctuary with zones for storage, relaxing and sleep. Drapes conceal the well-organised walk-in wardrobe.
