House Tour: Customised furniture turned this small condominium apartment into a luxury pad
The elegantly customised furniture in this one-plus-one-room condominium unit give it a luxurious touch. Reflective surfaces, like the glass walls and the satiny finish of the custom-made sofa bench, help to make the apartment feel more spacious, too.
The interior designer — Angela Lim of Su Misura — maximised the tiny galley-style kitchen with built-in storage in glossy white and a reflective backsplash.
Taking advantage of every spare surface, Angela hung photo frames on the apartment's main door. The bold zebra-print pouf gives the lounge area a "larger-than-life" character.
Angela turned the bay window ledges in the bedroom into something functional; she built the bespoke bed over the ledge, incorporating a headboard and side tables in croc-leather finish.
In the bathroom, a vanity counter was built over the bay window as a clever space-saving strategy.
To make the bomb-shelter-cum-wardrobe appear more homely, Angela used wallpaper that looks like dark wood veneer.
