After twenty years of creating memories within their original home, the family made the bold decision to demolish and rebuild, yet they were careful to preserve the essence of what made their living space unique. The terrace house design retained a distinctive Californian-style layout that had become intrinsic to their lifestyle, a configuration that strategically positioned the kitchen at the front of the house and dedicated the entire back area to the living room. Under the guidance of Chee Su Eing, the managing director of D’Perception Ritz, the terrace house design respected the architectural harmony of the neighborhood. While completely rebuilding the 2,535 sq ft intermediate terrace home, the exterior remained consistent with surrounding houses, ensuring that the new structure would not disrupt the street’s visual cohesion. This sensitive approach to urban design reflects a deep respect for community aesthetics and neighborhood character.

Neutral and white colour palette

Neutral tones and pristine white were carefully selected to create a soft, universally appealing environment. The ground floor showcases the elegant crema marfil marble imported from Spain, adding a touch of luxurious restraint to the Siglap terrace house. Dining area expansion

Spatial reconfiguration was key to enhancing the home’s functionality. The previously sunken lounge area near the dining table was leveled, creating a more expansive and fluid dining space.

Minimalist galley kitchen

Skylight above stairs
