Design director Jeremy Lee, along with his designer Therdnapa C. from Box.id Studio, tapped the storage potential of the walls and awkward corners, supplementing them with some cleverly designed custom furnishings, too.

One smart, customised piece of furniture designed with storage in mind is a cushioned dining bench, which can be opened from the top to reveal surprisingly roomy compartments large enough to stow a 29-inch luggage case.

Jeremy decided to rework the original doorway to the bedroom, creating a corridor for a walk-in wardrobe.

A row of customised dresser drawers topped with a mirror doubles as a privacy partition before easing into the sleeping area proper.

We love how a one-way mirrored partition provides privacy yet offers utility on the other side, in the form of built-in drawers.
