This capacious family home — a three-storey semi-detached house — is designed to have spaces unique to each individual, while still maintaining a unified look that is stately, elegant and absolutely alluring. The work took over a year and was overseen by Adrian Heng of Ottimo Spazi, and the result is a luxurious modern classic, hotel-inspired look.

The living area is tastefully furnished with an assortment of bespoke furniture, for a comfortable and luxurious space to hold family gatherings.

Among furniture customised by the designer are these statement-making high-back armchairs in the lounge on the ground floor.

The design makes use of clean-cut linear forms and details, as seen in the dry kitchen built-in cabinetry that is done up in contrasting neutral shades of cream and beige, and stark black.

Concealed doors and cabinet panels are part of the aesthetics of the modern classic interior, resulting in a seamless look.

In the master suite on the second floor, the mood is elegant and sophisticated with mellowed neutrals and a hint of subtle colour. Opulent textures in the furniture upholstery, headboard panelling and bedding further add to the hotel suite look.

The walk-in wardrobe appears to be dramatically long, thanks to its sleek design and mirror that visually doubles its length.

8/14

Bathrooms are beautifully decked out in stone tiles with attractive textures and soothing colours.

The bedroom of the younger son has a playful look, featuring a colour palette based on complementary teal and yellow colours.

10/14

A dark wood-tone laminate in the built-in structures offsets the vibrant colours perfectly.

The elder son and daughter-in-law’s room occupies almost the whole of the top floor, and has an open-concept design.

A concealed spacious walk-in wardrobe provides lots of storage space for bags and accessories, as well. Its design incorporates soft lighting and mirrored finishes, for an ambient dressing area.

13/14

Open sleeping and bathing areas make the room look and feel like a hotel suite.

14/14

Contemporary details are mixed with plush soft furnishings to complete the modern luxe look.
