This four-storey cluster house in Bukit Timah is home to a couple in their 30s and their young daughter.
The young couple wanted a "modern country" home, having lived in Australia and London. the look was inspired by New England or the Hamptons style - classic with a touch of romance, as designed by Nikki Hunt of Design Intervention.
High ceilings and lots of natural light accentuate the casual elegance of a modern country look.
The long, slim customised oak dining table makes efficient use of a compact space.
The master bedroom is a plush, cosy cocoon wrapped in duck egg blue wallpaper.
The daughter's room is pretty and sweet without a cliched pink colour scheme.
The total renovation cost amounted to about $140,000.
