For this HDB BTO home in Punggol designed by Zoey Tan, creative director of Carpenters, the interiors take on a dark colour palette and Scandinavian theme.

Stone tiles clad the entire wall behind the TV console for a textural look that pairs perfectly with wood-look elements in other parts of the home.

A wall between the kitchen and dining area was hacked to create the illusion of spaciousness, while allowing more natural light into the kitchen.

A wood-look panelling design clads the wall alongside the dining area to add visual interest and the illusion of a higher ceiling. Furniture with wood accents were chosen to complement this space.

A framed design was added in the bathroom. A wide mirror helps create the look of a larger bathroom.

in the bedroom, dark wood-look laminate were chosen for the cabinetry. To make full use of floor space, a study was incorporated with the wardrobe.

A second bedroom has a cosy ambience, complete with industrial-looking bedside lamps.

For the master bedroom, instead of a bedside table, a "cut-out" nook was incorporated into the wardrobe design for the homeowners' knick-knacks and accessories.
