Nikki Hunt, founder of local interior design consultancy Design Intervention, is adept at transforming spaces into luxurious homes. Nikki was a finalist in the Andrew Martin Interior Designer of the Year Award, considered the Oscars of the interior design world.
The homeowners of this project requested for the award-winning designer to renovate their existing property.
Their requirement was to incorporate the family’s art and antique collections with Fengshui elements. Interior designer Nikki accomplished this by using chinoiserie as a dominant theme throughout.
Clean lines and bold strokes mix harmoniously with intricate Chinese motifs and geometric shapes. The accent wall colours also help to draw focus to the impressive masterpieces.
