This 3-bedroom condominium is home to interior designer Wilfred Cheah and his family. Wilfred, who runs interior design firm, My Studio Associates, was inspired by his love for Peranakan-inspired elements — including intricately carved ornaments and elaborate moldings that showcase geometry and texture — to design his 1,240 sq ft apartment.
Living Room
The home layout was reconfigured, and the original kitchen is now transformed into the living room, as Wilfred wanted a larger living area that sits adjacent to the entrance foyer.
Many of his ornately-designed furniture and furnishings were handpicked from Guangzhou, China.

Peranakan Dining Room
The dining room — which used to be the living area — is located next to a full-height window.
Wilfred chose a 2.1-metre dining table, which is large enough to accommodate guests during gatherings. To add a personal touch, the family also displayed their photographs on the wall behind the dining table.

Peranakan Master Bedroom
For the master bedroom, Wilfred chose a side table and lamp that sport floral motifs to tie in with the theme he chose for his home.
