The interiors of this two-bedroom loft apartment in Bukit Timah is designed by Jacky Low and Carol Sim of Frame Interior, for a family of four. Though the front door opens to the simple, all-white galley kitchen, separated from the living and dining area by a solid-surface worktop, the striking arrangement of various-sized photo frames hung on a double-height white wall invites guests in. Furniture with black accents, like the King lamp from Dream Interiors, complements the black frames of the family pictures.

Bright-hued cushions from Friven & Co. contrast with the black sofa. Fruit bowl, from The Touch.

A playroom just for the children keeps the rest of the flat from being cluttered with toys.

Jacky brought out the spiral staircase by matching the new floor to its honey-hued wooden steps. Placing the TV below lets the couple watch both the news and the kids, who often play on the stairs.

The master bedroom has a soothing white and brown palette, livened up with a touch of green from the duvet cover from Friven & Co.

Jacky put in a long washbasin with enough space for parent and child to wash together. Cabinets below provide convenient storage to keep the vanity area uncluttered.
