In order to make the homeowners’ art collection the centre of attention in their three-bedroom condominium apartment in Holland Village, creative director Joy Loo of Waff needed to conceal the awkwardly positioned pillars around the house.

The resultant look at the end of the $300,000 renovation is a home with curvilinear wall ends and rounded pillars, lending a sophisticated look to the home.

While the pillar in the kitchen cannot be removed, it was kept as inconspicuous and unsightly as possible by keeping its silhouette slender and white like the rest of the kitchen.
