When the young owners of this 1,800 sqf, three-bedroom condo unit in Bukit Timah approached Chloe Elkerton of E&A Interiors, their brief was to transform it into a “light and airy space” that was sophisticated and modern.

The result is an impeccably styled home – a sensuous colour palette consisting of cream and French grey for the living areas, caramel and biscuit shades for the bedrooms, that are paired with finely crafted furniture of rich materials like velvet, silk and marble and walnut.

Overall, the interiors evoke an Art Deco opulence, such as this upholstered taupe banquette that maximizes the use of an apartment corner for dining.

Like the first home, this 4,500 sqf, three-storey, semi-detached house is characterised by a restrained colour scheme that is juxtaposed by the tasteful curation of high-end furniture hand-picked by the owners from Italy.

They also got the help of Selina Tay, founder and principal designer of Collective Designs, to design a home catered to the three-generations residing in it.

In the living area, paintings, cushions and a Missoni rug provide delightful colour accents against the earthy tones of the walls and classic furniture pieces.
