But don’t let that deter your fun – have a splashing great time with the kids at one of the many water playgrounds and water parks in Singapore. Planning to take your little one for a splash? Here are a few things to remember to pack!
- Wet bags or plastic bags for wet clothes
- Swimsuits for the kids – and most likely one for you as it’s inevitable one of the adults will have to “dive in”
- A change of clothes for everyone

8 Best HDB Water Playgrounds and Parks in Singapore
1. Buangkok Square Water Park
North Easties, listen up. The aquatic-themed Buangkok Square Water Park just opened in March 2024. It’s located between blocks 986D Buangkok Crescent and 992A Buangkok Crescent and includes a gated water park and dry playground that’s open 24 hours.
The water park has plenty of splash elements, from dragonfly-themed spray fountains to a tipping bucket. Your little ones ones can frolic in the stream-like play area or cool off in the various water fountains dotting the landscape. There’s also an open washing area featuring showering facilities, perfect for those who want to clean up before heading home.
Once they’ve had enough water play, head to the village-themed dry playground adjacent to the water park, where they can climb the net tunnels or have a go at the swings.

2. Happy Park @ Waterway Point
On level 2 of Waterway Point in Punggol, you’ll find Happy Park wet play area. It’s a massive free playground with fun items like jet sprays and water curtains, tunnel slides, and a trampoline. The colourful playground includes a large wading pool, which the kids can splash around in. Once they’re done cooling off at the wet play area, there’s also a dry playground area.
While you’re there, head down to The Cove at basement 2, where you’ll find a water fountain play area with water shooters that mimic the intensity of rain.

3. Play @ Heights Park, Toa Payoh
This playground in the heart of Toa Payoh truly has it all: a water play area, a huge sand pit, swings, trampolines, a flying fox, and a track for scooters and bicycles. Plus, you won’t have to worry about the kids getting too dirty because there are shower stalls available for them to rinse off after playing.

4. Oasis Waterpark @ Nee Soon East, Yishun
Recently opened, this is a community water park worth exploring if you are looking for a family oriented space to spend quality bonding time together. The park comes with interesting features like giant board game pieces and a water curtain. For added convenience, it is equipped with facilities like vending machines for drinks and ice cream, shade umbrellas and benches so that parents and kids alike can snack and rest after a session at the pool.

5. Water Playground @ Bishan-Ang Mo Kio Park

Located amidst the residential spaces at Admiralty Link, the waterpark is a convenient location for kids to have fun.
