G Selection, TOTO’s premium bathroom fittings line that bridges Japanese heritage, artisan craftsmanship, and modern architecture, saw five new additions recently.

Launched at TOTO’s regional event in Singapore on 25 September 2026, the five new G Selection faucet models bears cultural and contemporary spatial design motifs.

Rather than adopting a one-size-fits-all approach to luxury fittings, the G Selection faucets offer different profiles to suit diverse architectural interiors.

The TOTO GK Series: Kumiki (組木) faucet featured in a Japanese bathroom.

GK Series: Kumiki (組木)

This faucet was inspired by Kumiki, the traditional Japanese technique of interlocking wooden joinery crafted without nails or glue. Kumiki is often revered for its geometric precision, angular block silhouettes, and seamless joint lines that emphasize structural harmony and balance.

The TOTO Kumiki faucet will appeal to modern architectural and minimalist themes. The flush joints reduce dirt accumulation crevices, making maintenance easier compared to traditional multi-piece faucets. However, the sharp, linear geometries may feel overly rigid in softer, organic bathroom concepts, and may show water spots more noticeably on flat metallic planes.

The TOTO GN Series: Sakaki (榊) faucet featured in a luxury bathroom.

GN Series: Sakaki (榊)

The GN Series was named after the sacred Japanese evergreen tree (Sakaki), which carries organic, gently tapering leaf-like silhouettes with refined edges, expressing natural fluidity and calm. Sakaki symbolizes purity, sincerity, and nature’s connection to humanity.

The GN Sakaki has an excellent ergonomic hand-feel. It provides a softer, tactile alternative to standard industrial minimalist fittings (such as basic chrome cylindrical mixers), making it versatile for luxury residential developments. However, the organic curves require careful pairing with surrounding basins to maintain visual harmony.

The GC Series: Bonshō (梵鐘) faucet featured in a luxury hotel bathroom.

GC Series: Bonshō (梵鐘)

The TOTO GC Bonsho takes design cues from Bonshō, the traditional bell found in Japanese Buddhist temples. It incorporates soft, flared bases, gently tapering necklines, and sculptural contours that evoke tranquility and mindfulness.

This will be great if you’re looking for a bathroom statement piece (especially for master bathrooms of larger landed homes, hotels). It gives off a weighted, high-end feel that rivals boutique European luxury brassware brands (such as Hansgrohe or Dornbracht). Again, the flared profile will require a larger space around the basin setup.

The GE Series: Katana (刀) faucet featured in a bathroom.

GE Series: Katana (刀)

The TOTO GE series was inspired by the Katana, the traditional Japanese sword associated with precision, discipline, and mastery. Its design is defined by ultra-crisp edges, sweeping blade-like top surfaces, and purposeful linear proportions.

Another candidate for statement bathroom faucets, the faucet’s highly distinctive visual silhouette creates a focal point on any vanity. The slim profile offers an elegant, modern aesthetic compared to bulkier commercial brassware.

However, the flat top plane can retain water droplets if not wiped down regularly, requiring frequent maintenance in hard water environments.

The GM Series: Torii (鳥居) faucet featured in a bathroom.

GM Series: Torii (鳥居)

The final GM series draws inspiration from Torii gates, the traditional structures marking the transition between everyday spaces and sacred ground. The faucet’s design traces smooth arching spouts combined with bold crossbar silhouettes, presenting an architectural presence.

This faucet is suitable for deeper or taller basins, since the elevated arc spout provides a higher clearance.

If your basin is low-profile, shallow, or narrow, a high-arc faucet may lead to splashes all over your bathroom countertop.

These TOTO faucets are positioned as premium luxury items, so pricing varies based on your specific specifications, finish selections, and project quantities. Enquiries for pricing and local stock availability are directed through TOTO’s regional office in Singapore, as well as its network of authorised showrooms and distributors (such as W. Atelier)

Popularised the Electronic Bidet Toilet

Founded in 1917 by Kazuchika Okura in Kitakyushu, Japan, TOTO was established with a mission to elevate standard living conditions through hygienic, high-performance sanitaryware.

Built upon the Japanese philosophy of monozukuri (the pursuit of perfection in craftsmanship and manufacturing), the brand transformed from its origins into a global pioneer.

In 1980, TOTO revolutionized bathroom culture globally by launching the Washlet, an electronic bidet seat for toilet bowls featuring integrated heating, personal cleansing sprays, and deodorisation.

In 2008, TOTO Asia Oceania established its headquarters in Singapore to serve as the regional base for Asia and Oceania. Today, TOTO is recognised globally as a benchmark for high-end bathroom innovation, luxury fittings, and sustainable technologies.
