10 Best Aircon Servicing Companies in Singapore
The heat in Singapore isn’t about to take a break, and neither should your aircon.
By Gwyneth Goh -
Singapore’s mid-year heat has kicked up a notch, and I’ve been leaning hard on my aircons to keep the sweat away. Thankfully the aircon units at home are holding up well after their last servicing in April, but our car aircon started acting up just as we began our road trip up to KL.
We had to stop in JB to top up the aircon gas (aka ‘refrigerant’) as a temporary fix, and unfortunately had to replace the entire aircon coil once we got back to Singapore. That was a $700 repair which had the car out of action for almost 2 days—boo. Not sure if regular car aircon servicing could have prevented this bit of drama, but I’ve never serviced a car aircon in my life (didn’t know that was a thing). Google seems to think an annual car aircon servicing is necessary though, and I should probably consider doing this in future.
But I digress. We’re talking about home aircon servicing here, which we’ve religiously observed every quarter since becoming tenants—it’s part of every tenancy agreement. Nevertheless, whether you rent or own your home, aircon servicing is crucial for maintaining the efficiency and longevity of your units and preventing breakdowns. Over time, air conditioners accumulate dust, dirt, and other debris which often lead to poor performance and potential issues.
Sure—you can regularly wash and clean the filters yourself (with enough discipline and motivation), but professional servicing is recommended for addressing more complex issues like coil cleaning, refrigerant checks or diagnosing electrical issues. Leaks, unusual noises, and reduced cooling are just some common signs that your aircon needs servicing—but try not to wait until then!
If it’s time for servicing and you’re looking for a reliable aircon servicing company in Singapore, here’s my curated, reviewer-approved list of the top 10 best aircon servicing companies in Singapore—complete with pricing (typically $40–$80 per unit for a general service, but do note that chemical washes or overhauls will certainly cost more).

SoCool Aircon Servicing, from $43.60 per unit
Best full-range aircon servicing in Singapore with affordable rates and responsive booking
At the top of the list is my own aircon service provider—SoCool. We’ve been with them for 7 straight years and the fact that I’ve found no need to look for another aircon service provider speaks volumes, because—as you can image—I’m a hyper-discerning (read ‘critical’) and assertive (read ‘demanding’) customer—not sure if this is a job hazard or help?
The SoCool guys are great though—a breeze to book on Whatsapp, always responsive, readily available, and so very affordable. A few times when our aircon was busted and I texted an SOS, they’ve been able to send someone that very day—which is absolutely something I do not take for granted. These guys really get it—they’re not going to let you sit and stew in your sweat soup for more than a few hours, and I deeply appreciate that. They also do their jobs well, and are super proactive about sending a reminder whenever our next aircon servicing is due (we usually buy a quarterly package).
Their basic servicing starts at just $43.60 (which is $40 + 9% GST) for the one-time servicing of a single fancoil unit, but it gets even cheaper if you have more units and sign up for a tri-yearly or quarterly package—our 6-unit quarterly package costs only $457.80 ($420+GST), which works out to just $19.075 per unit per servicing!
They have one of the widest ranges of services I’ve seen: from regular washing to chemical overhaul, gas top-ups, VRV systems, even troubleshooting weird unit noises. Their team has been around for over 10 years, and I also like that they show up in proper uniforms and carry out the job quickly, efficiently and cheerfully (no brooding black faces).
They’re very upfront about pricing and don’t hard-sell. That said, I’ve seen some Reddit threads complaining that they try to upsell optional and unnecessary add-ons—to be completely honest, this hasn’t happened to me in 7 whole years, but in case it does happen to you, just firmly decline if you’re on a budget. Other than that, their wide range of services, easy WhatsApp booking, and reminder system make them a top pick for busy households that want convenience and clarity. Plus they have my personal stamp of approval (and over 7k Google reviewers’). ✔
SoCool Aircon Servicing starts from $43.60 per unit, and you can book them via their website here.
338 Aircon, from $65 per unit
Best service-guaranteed 10-step aircon servicing model in Singapore
Another aircon servicing company in Singapore with over 7,000 five-star Google reviews (on par with SoCool at a 4.9 Google rating) is 338 Aircon. That’s a lot of satisfied sweaty Singaporeans, which leads me to believe that these aircon guys must also be good.
For easy booking, there’s a WhatsApp button on their website which I proceed to use for querying (I hate making calls)—sent a simple yes/no question at 10pm and received a flurry of promotional messages at 10am the next day which buried the answer to my question (felt a bit bombarded TBH, although they were friendly and backed off after I said I didn’t need any servicing at the moment).
Their 10-step servicing process is also laid out transparently on their website. Being a big fan of SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and user manuals, this 10-step servicing process is a real clincher for me. Plus there’s a one-month warranty on the servicing—they’ll come back and fix it for free if your aircon leaks within a month.
As you can see, they seem to have earned a fair bit of recognition and accolade, as well as celebrity endorsement, which speaks to reliability. Some reviewers have described them as “thorough” and “detailed”, which they definitely must be—what with a 10-step service checklist. Others have described their technicians as “knowledgeable”, “helpful”, and giving “good advice”.
If you want to try them, see if any of your friends are existing customers, because they can earn a referral discount on their next servicing by referring you. Do note that 338 Aircon imposes a weekend surcharge: $10 before 6pm and $15 after 6pm on Saturdays; $20 before 6pm and $30 after 6pm on Sundays. I might just try and bear the heat until Monday morning if my aircon broke down on Sunday night.

Gain City, from $50 per unit
Best subscription aircon servicing plan in Singapore
If you’ve ever bought appliances in Singapore, you’ve probably heard of Gain City — and yes, they don’t just sell aircons, they service them too.
I was impressed by this Facebook video which explains how, by paying a monthly subscription fee starting from $52, you can get your brand new aircon units delivered, installed, serviced and repaired. Choose from their huge range of aircon brands and models before deciding on a subscription plan that suits your home needs, and at the end of the plan, you will have the option to own it or subscribe to the latest model. How’s that for an easy hire-purchase-type plan that will take the initial financial load off buying a bunch of aircons. Of course, as with most hire purchases and instalment plans, you’ll likely end up paying more in total than if you’d paid upfront, but you’ll need to compare and do your own calculations here to decide what’s best for your personal financial and cashflow situation.
Aside, people are usually drawn to Gain City because of their solid brand reputation and nationwide presence, including a huge showroom you can walk into and ask questions in person (not just rely on chatbots).
Servicing starts from $50 per unit on an ad-hoc basis, which is slightly pricier than smaller companies, but you’ll enjoy access to certified technicians, branded parts, and long-term service plans (including 2-year and 3-year packages which offer more savings).
According to their website, Gain City aircon servicing technicians undergo rigorous training conducted by product engineers and typically have a minimum of five years’ experience with the company, which means they are trained and skilled in maintenance, troubleshooting, and chemical cleaning of specific aircon systems—which is a plus if you’ve got a brand-specific unit and want parts that match. Overall, it’s a more premium experience if you’re the type who prefers “corporate” over “contractor.”

City Cooling, from $38.15 per unit
Best aircon servicing in Singapore for transparency, reliability and efficiency
City Cooling came recommended from a friend who loves a good deal but hates shady technicians. She commended them for their upfront pricing, no-pressure service style, and techs who explained exactly what they were doing. She also liked that they checked for signs of wear and let her know what to watch for (no scare tactics), and lauded them for their honesty (high praise!)
At $38.15 per unit for a one-time standard servicing, they’re affordable, and they offer packages if you’re servicing 2 or more units (which works out to be even cheaper than my SoCool package). They’re also well-reviewed on Google (4.9) and Carousell, and have a decent following on Facebook, which adds to their trust factor.
Some of their other praise points include “fast”, “quick”, “efficient”, “diligence”, “thoroughness” and “punctuality”—with being “on time” mentioned frequently (this is a real win because, seriously, who has the time to wait for your aircon guys to show up 2 hours late).
City Cooling aircon servicing starts from $35 per unit and you can book them on their website here.
Aircool Aircon, from $30 per unit
Best budget aircon servicing in Singapore with professional and reliable service
I found Aircool after a deep dive into Reddit’s “aircon servicing” threads, and they kept coming up as a solid budget choice. They’re a smaller team but punch way above their weight in terms of response time and communication. At the time of writing, they have a perfect 5.0 Google star rating. Albeit only reviewed by 600+ Google reviewers, most of the reviews carefully compliment and detail how Aircool has helped them.
They also provide 30-, 60- and 90-day workmanship warranties for their aircon services (depending on the type of service). When I messaged them on WhatsApp, they replied within minutes and politely answered my queries without any hard-selling or bombarding.
They’re extremely affordable—$30 per unit for standard servicing, and their chemical cleaning and aircon overhaul packages are also wallet-friendly. Despite the low price, they’re reportedly “professional” and “thorough” while being “fast”, “polite” and “helpful”, cleaning up any mess they might have made—such a big plus in my books (don’t you just hate it when the aircon man leaves your home with dirt tracks on the floor, etc.)
No frills, just clean coils and cooler air. Honestly, this is the kind of team you’d probably stick with once you’ve found them. I’d totally try them if I wasn’t so satisfied and locked in with SoCool already.
Aircool Aircon servicing starts from $30 per unit on their official website here.
DW Aircon Servicing, from $60 per unit
Best aircon servicing in Singapore for one-stop convenience and emergency availability
Another well-reviewed company on Google (4.9 stars with over 3000 reviews), DW Aircon is one of those companies I stumbled upon when googling for same-day aircon repair. Besides regular servicing and maintenance, they also offer aircon installation, emergency repair, chemical wash, cleaning and overhaul, gas top-up, and part replacements. If you’re the kind of person who panics when the AC dies during a heatwave (like yours truly), having them bookmarked is probably a smart idea.
They’ve got strong reviews across Google and Facebook, and what stands out for me is their super-detailed website—you can literally see what each service involves, why it’s important, and how it will be executed. They’re also part of the Everyworks group, which offers other home services too, so there’s an extra layer of credibility and accountability here—not to mention their pretty portfolio of corporate clients and positive press features. Pricing starts at $65 per unit for general servicing. Guess you’re paying a little bit more for their brand reputation and reliability.
DW Aircon servicing starts from $65 per unit on their official website here.
Helpling Aircon Servicing, from $25 per unit (minimum 2 units) +$3.90 service fee
Best aircon servicing in Singapore for hassle-free online booking and reliable partner network
As someone who loves all-in-ones and celebrates when something is multi-purpose (e.g. bed that transforms into a desk, or baby activity station that turns into a table, etc.), business models like Helpling and Urban Company really appeal to me. They are the ultimate one-stop shop for home services.
If you’re already using Helpling for home cleaning, you might be surprised to know they also offer aircon servicing through their network of vetted technicians—along with maid services, home renovation packages, plumbing, pest control, gardening, child care and more! Many of my mummy friends use Helpling regularly and have only good things to say about them.
To be honest, I’ve only tried them once for a major cleaning, but had a pleasant and seamless experience. Booking was ridiculously easy—I just booked a slot online, paid for it, and they showed up and did the job. For aircon servicing, similarly, you would just select your preferred time slot online—no need to call or WhatsApp anyone (in fact, they’re not very responsive on Whatsapp).
Prices start at $25 per unit for a one-off servicing (minimum 2 units), but go as low as $17.50 per unit when you book a 2-year subscription plan. That’s surprisingly cheap (the cheapest on our list) and you’re very likely to get a prompt and professional team because Helpling partners with established service providers. (Note: they charge a $3.90 service fee per booking session)
While they don’t offer in-depth specialist repairs like compressor replacements, for routine cleaning, chemical wash, or annual servicing, this is good enough. Only limiting factor here is the minimum required number of units—if you have only a single aircon unit, this is not for you unfortunately.
Helpling aircon servicing starts from $25 per unit (with a minimum requirement of two) on their official website here.
Cool-Aire Aircon Servicing, from $50 per unit
Best aircon servicing in Singapore for consistent and courteous service
Cool-Aire came up when I was searching for aircon servicing “near me” with decent Google reviews—and they’ve got a solid 4.9-star rating that seems well-earned. I contacted them late in the day and got a reply around 30 minutes later, which is a decent response speed.
They’ve been around for over 20 years, and offer general servicing, chemical wash, overhaul, and contract servicing plans (for servicing thrice or four times a year). Pricing is clear—$50 for one unit, with bundled discounts for multiple units.
I noted a sprinkling of bad reviews concerning slow scheduling, an aircon unit getting warmer after the servicing (?!), and someone who felt taken on an expensive wild-goose troubleshooting chase only to end up calling their aircon manufacturer because Cool-Aire still couldn’t fix the problem in the end. But that’s just a handful compared to the many other reviews by long-time, happy customers.
Most reviewers compliment the Cool-Aire staff for being “professional”, “knowledgeable”, “pleasant” and “helpful”, citing “good service” and “good advice” repeatedly, and describing technicians as being careful to explain what they were doing without being pushy or upselling.
Cool-Aire aircon servicing starts from $50 per unit and you can book them on their website here.
Newway Air Conditioning, from $38.15 per unit (minimum 2 units)
Best aircon servicing in Singapore for long-term reliability and Mitsubishi / Daikin expertise
Ironically enough, Newway has been around since the 80s (1987 to be precise), clocking nearly four decades of servicing Singapore’s aircons—wow. It’s one of those long-established names that tends to fly under the radar though, unless you ask someone in facilities or condo management.
Their services cover everything from residential to commercial aircons, and they’re especially good for Mitsubishi and Daikin systems, offering specialised troubleshooting, part replacement, and regular maintenance plans for these two popular brands.
Pricing starts from $35 per unit (before GST), depending on your unit’s cooling capacity—the higher the BTU, the more expensive the servicing. There’s also no mention of packages or possible savings, unlike most of the other websites where every possible package option is listed in easily understood tables. There is however a stated $10 surcharge (before GST again) if you live in the CBD/Sentosa/Jurong Island, and a $30 transportation fee if you have only one aircon unit and still want them to come service it (for some reason).
While their website seems a little dated, offering a contact form instead of a WhatsApp button, don’t let that fool you—they’re described as “professional”, “punctual”, “efficient”, “thorough”, “conscientious”, “informative”, “polite’ and “respectful”, with many reviewers saying that they are communicative and will keep you updated. Ideal if you’re the kind who likes to know everything and want peace of mind, especially for more complex setups.
Also, there are neat rows of awards and accolades, registrations and certifications on their website, so that’s some strong reputation and reliability there. But my favourite part is their “Aircon Indoor Air Quality Testing” service, which promises to identify pollutants (including mould, formaldehyde and VOCs— Volatile Organic Compounds) and create a cleaner, safer environment—this I would call them in for.
Newway Air Conditioning servicing starts from $38.15 per unit (with a minimum requirement of two) on their official website here.
Absolute Aircon Servicing, from $42.40 per unit (minimum 2 units)
Best aircon servicing in Singapore for transparent pricing and affordable packages
Absolute Aircon is a name I kept seeing in Reddit threads and Facebook groups when searching “aircon servicing near me”. It turns out, they’ve earned that reputation for being “affordable”, “reliable”, and “insured”, which got me thinking about aircon servicing insurance (because it hadn’t crossed my mind before)—what happens if your aircon guy breaks something while on the job?
Well, “Absolute Aircon is insured and makes sure your property is safe.” This means that should an accident happen, insurance will take care of the damages and you don’t need to worry. I’ve checked and SoCool is also insured (phew), and many other aircon servicing companies are too—just make sure yours is.
Absolute Aircon’s $42.40 basic servicing (when servicing 2 units) covers all the expected checks, and price per unit decreases with each additional unit you service (i.e. $36.35 each for 3-4 units, $30.30 each for 5 or more units), but their yearly contracts “from $23.30 to $31.30” are more attractively priced. The website states that their pricing doesn’t conceal any hidden charges, and they also offer free price quotes.
The WhatsApp button is big and green on the site, and practically everything you click tries to open up a WhatsApp chat window (which got a little annoying after a while)—but they’re communicative! They’re also offering $10 off servicing with the promo code “Absoluteaircon10” for a limited time now—no harm trying if you need your aircons serviced soon.
Absolute Aircon servicing starts from $42.40 per unit (when servicing two units) and you can find out more on their official website here.
Asian man hand hold air conditioner filter cleaning concept
When do I need to service my aircon?
Leaking: Water leaks, especially from the indoor unit, are a common sign of trouble—often due to a clogged condensate drain, low refrigerant levels, or other issues.
Not cooling well: If your aircon is not cooling like it used to, or taking much longer to cool a room, it’s a good indication that servicing is needed.
Making weird noises: Loud or unusual noises like rattling, hissing, or banging are signs of mechanical problems within the system.
Blowing smelly air: Musty or unpleasant odours coming from your aircon can be a sign of mould or bacteria growth, which requires professional cleaning.
Short cycling: If your aircon turns on and off frequently, it could be a sign of low refrigerant or other issues.
Due for a service: Even without any noticeable problems, it’s recommended to have your aircon serviced at least once a year to prevent potential issues—and every 3-4 months if you run it daily.
Aircon Servicing Checklist
Clean the indoor unit: This includes cleaning the components (i.e. filters, fan coil, cooling coil, blower, drain pan and pipe, exterior, etc.) to remove dust, dirt, and debris.
Clean and inspect the outdoor unit: The condenser coil and fan should also be cleaned and inspected for any blockages that can hinder airflow.
Check refrigerant levels: This is because low gas levels can cause the evaporator coil to freeze, leading to leaks and reduced cooling.
Check electrical components: They should inspect wiring, connections, and other electrical parts for signs of wear or damage, to ensure safety and proper function.
Check for leaks: They should inspect for any gas or water leaks and address these promptly.
