Apart from a bottle of Jo Malone perfume, the London brand is most renowned for its candles — making you feel as if you’re running through a field in the English countryside.
Which is the best smelling Jo Malone candle? This Jo Malone candle, infused with notes of zesty lime, mandarin and basil, lends a really herbaceous and aromatic smell. Its base note is amberwood (which always reminds me of sandalwood, which I love)!

Jo Malone Wild Bluebell Scent Surround Diffuser, $175
The Jo Malone wild bluebell is ridiculously popular on its online flagship store, and is for sure a Jo Malone diffuser best seller.
Whenever I imagine this scent, I picture rows of the purple flower, hanging delicately like fairy trumpets off a stem. It’s a dreamy setting in my head, and that’s an excellent way to describe this floral-y infusion: dreamy and whimsical.
Think a little sweet, fresh, floral, and with the smell of morning dew drops.
The 10 diffuser sticks are made from reed. The diffuser bottle is glass. The scent is extracted from natural ingredients, in this instance, the bluebell flower. Add the oil to the bottle, the reeds to the oil and voila. Enjoy your Jo Malone diffuser for about three to four months (this is how long the oil keeps its fragrance for).
Ordering from the official store, the diffuser arrives in the brand’s gorgeous boxing/packaging, and don’t be surprised if you find a free sample gift, or two, with your order.

Jo Malone English Pear & Freesia Scented Home Candle, $125
Not only is the English Pear and Freesia one of my all-time favourite Jo Malone scents (I have the Jo Malone English pear and freesia perfume and body cream in this scent), but it’s one of the designer brand’s most favoured!
Crafted back in 2010, it continues to be a best-seller, with hints of floral (thanks to the white freesia flower base). Pears can also lend a juicy, floral smell, but without being overly sweet. Perfectly ripened pears are used for this signature Jo Malone scent.
How to use Jo Malone candle for the best results? To prolong the candle, and avoid wax tunnelling — where you’re left with a gaping hole in the middle of the candle — use the lid to put out the flame, but first let it harden again before you reignite its wick.
It’s not recommended to allow the candle to sit and burn for hours on end. Jo Malone recommends four hours, max!
This Jo Malone candle size is 200g, but like all of its candles, it is also available in 65g.

Jo Malone Peony & Blush Suede Room Spray, $74
The perfect way to brighten up any room, with an especially feminine touch; whiffs of peonies fill your nose with this Jo Malone room spray.
It’s particularly soft, and the brand describes it as flirtatious — such an apt description.
Smell hints of sweetness, thanks to its top note of red apple, but it’s also a little citrusy at the same time.
The base note is suede, adding a sense of warmth to the scent. Other aromas that come through include jasmine, gillyflower and rose (which it contains).
Super simple use, just spray a few spritz into your desired space or room.
Some users have commented that it’s not as strong as some of the other Jo Malone room spray fragrances, but it’s because the peony and blush suede is meant to be a lighter fragrance, not heavy and overpowering.

So, what is so special about Jo Malone candles? As you can see by customer loyalty, it’s a brand that lives up to its own standards and reputation, renowned for its luxury, handcrafted production process, and unique fragrance offering.
And because it’s one of the most-loved scents from the London brand, I say go big or go home with this extra-large Jo Malone candle size, weighing 600 grams. Also, I love that it boasts three wicks. I’m a massive fan of oversized candles; they feel so rich and stylish in the home. The size also justifies the Jo Malone candle price for this one.
A little daring, I can imagine how different the scent must have been when it first came out in 2005. Along with rich pomegranate, the smoky guaiacwood comes through, creating a beautiful balance.

I’m an absolute sucker for a divine pillow mist. I especially love using it in my guest rooms, just for that extra little touch.

With hints of vanilla and honey, floral, and earthy notes, this is coupled with calming chamomile and lavender. It’s the perfect way to fall into la-la land.
Chamomile is one of my favourite flowers; whether for its smell or healing properties. (I love a cup of chamomile tea before bedtime; I even give my dogs nighttime chamomile biscuits for better sleep.)

To use the pillow mist, gently give your bed sheets or pillows a few spritzes, but ensure you don’t spray straight onto the fabric. You want to aim to hold the bottle about 30 to 40 cm from the fabric for an even spray.

Sage is one of my most beloved herbs in the entire universe! Out of all of my bottles of essential oils, I think I have triples of sage. Plus, it’s always been my favourite herb to cook with, which I love for its unique flavour profile. It’s super earthy, reminding one to remain wild and free.
I think the pairing of wood sage and sea salt is simply divine! It’s the earth and the ocean combobulated into one. The natural elements in a hand wash.
This particular home fragrance is another one of the brand’s most popular! Like all of its hand washes, you can purchase a matching hand cream to pair with it.
Consistency and texture-wise, the hand wash turns into a velvety foam in your hands as it hits the water, leaving your skin feeling soft and supple.
It’s manufactured using meadowfoam seed oil (very much like jojoba oil, it’s amazing for wrinkles, eczema and dry skin) as well as naturally derived glycerine.

If ever I am given the option between floral or earthy, I always end up going for the latter. I love the richness and warmth of earthier fragrances. Case in point: the Jo Malone Myrrh and Tonka Body and Hand Wash.
How cool is this: you can opt to use it for either your hands or your body. Sometimes, I am hesitant to do so if a label states you can — typically in hotels. But knowing the values and ethics behind the Jo Malone London brand, I wouldn’t think twice. I trust the ingredients and integral makeup of each product!
It’s designed in a black bottle, as it’s part of a different collection from the signature range. For example, my Jo Malone perfume bottle for my hibiscus fragrance is red, and not the classic white glass bottle.
Like all of its hand washes, it’s manufactured using glycerine, but in this instance, it uses samphire extract, derived from coastal plants that grow on the beach. This gives us a slight salty scent and is very purifying. Tonka always reminds me of vanilla.

It’s designed to give off the smell of when you’ve just cut a bunch of red roses. This is balanced with lemon and spearmint (top notes), and base notes of wood, musk and honeycomb.
I’ve always been very wary of any fragrance that is rose-scented, as it can be overpowering or remind me of my gran’s perfume. But this Jo Malone scent is extra fresh thanks to its “freshly cut” aspect.
