Nostos: Records of the Self

In conjunction with the 10th anniversary of the Singapore Night Festival, Aesop will be offering an evocative scent experience designed to prompt memory and recollection. Using scent’s ability to attach itself to certain memories and transport us back in time, a smell uniquely developed for the festival will act as an everlasting mark in the minds of visitors. The exhibition uses light to heat the essential oils, consisting of Bergamot, Sandalwood and Olibanum, in ten handcrafted steel wells, creating a space permeating with respite and reflection.

Beerfest Asia

With over 500 kinds of beers and ciders, including all-time favourites such as Tiger Beer, Guinness and Strongbow ciders by Asia Pacific Breweries, beer enthusiasts will be spoilt for choice at this years beer festival. Back with a brand new air-conditioned venue and a solid line-up of electrifying live music acts, this is the place to let your hair down over the weekend. Visitors can also expect a wide range of gourmet treats and beer-friendly grub by the likes of The Handle Bar, Kontiki, 1925, Little Part 1 Cafe and many more!  For the first time ever, the festival will also be hosting beer-related workshops and activities, which will have everything from electronic beer pong to workshops on how to brew your very own beer.

one-north Festival

A celebration of research, innovation and creativity, one-north festival will have a myriad of interactive exhibitions, public talks, hands-on workshops and more! Visitors can expect to hear from and interact with scientists, innovators and entrepreneurs as well as get inspired by learning how a passion for their work is pioneering an innovative future for us all. The 50 interactive displays at the festival will feature the latest innovations discovered and made in Singapore while lab and company tours provide further insight into the world of innovation.

Dress Up

A solo exhibition by Safaruddin Bin Abdul Hamid aka Dyn, Dress Up aims to engage the physical aspect of iconic architectures in response to the frequent refurbishment of old and new buildings in Singapore’s ever-changing landscape. Travelling the globe, Dyn connects with international modern icons such as the Statue of Liberty from New York, the Opera House in Sydney and even the Merlion statue. To create his unique works, he layers a pastiche of colours upon the architectural form of a chosen icon, showing them in a different light.

Singapore International Festival of Arts

The 4th edition of the Singapore International Festival of Arts will showcase the grandeur and passion of Singapore Artists with a programme line-up consisting of a spectrum of genres, including a focus on filmmaking as a performance and the adaptation of Singapore novels to the live stage. Influenced by current events, this year's festival is themed “enchantment”, wanting audiences to relieve - even for a fleeting moment - the childlike glee and excitement for life.
