Annexe Open House

Esplanade’s new arts and lifestyle space is opening its doors this weekend with a bang. Gathering special guests and the people of Esplanade Annexe itself, the event will see an assortment of art, music, food and craft being brought to the table from the likes of Supermama and Meadows & Clouds - where you can try your hand at floral arrangement. If you’re more of a food fanatic, the Esplanade X HungryGoWhere food trail, featuring 11 restaurants, is something you’ll definitely want to try out.

Children’s Biennale: Dreams & Stories

Spend a day of family fun at the National Gallery, where the first Children’s Biennale will be run. Themed Dreams and Stories, the biennale will feature highly immersive and interactive artwork by artists such as Yayoi Kusama, Mark Justiniani, teamLab collective, as well as a myriad of art programmes the whole family can take part in. Whether you’re young or simply young at heart, the line-up of events will definitely get your imagination and creativity flowing. For a fully immersive experience, get the art pack, which includes items you can use at different exhibits.

The Home and Decor Fair is back with the latest trends in interior design, soft furnishings and household products to spice up your home. With celebrity chef Philip Chia showing off his skills in healthy Peranakan cooking, founder of Kai Garden - Chef Fung Chi Keung demonstrating Cantonese cooking and popular Sarnies cafe brewing up coffee in their workshops, there's plenty to enjoy in this years fair!

Urban Ventures – Vol.6

If you love art and music, Urban Ventures - Vol. 6 is the place to be. With a line-up of live musical performances, art installations, urban furnitures and an artisans market, it won’t be easy to run out of things to do. Get your fix of artisanal goods, from candles to ceramics to cold brew coffee or simply chill out and relax on some comfy airmocks while reading a book from the pop-up library. If you’re more of a hands-on person, you can also check out the free workshops, which include a monoprint class by STPI - Creative Workshop & Gallery.

Blue Beauties

Take in the blue-hued nature of the Flower dome at Garden’s by the Bay. Although common in our everyday lives, true blue spectrum is one of the rarer colours found in plants, making this a sight to behold. The floral field will feature the vivid blue tones of flowers like hydrangeas and delphiniums set amongst a French-inspired garden and complemented by the purple and pink hues of gladiolus, lupins and foxgloves.
