Singapore Tea Festival

Whether you’re a self-proclaimed tea aficionado or a casual tea drinker, you’re in for a real treat. The inaugural Singapore Tea Festival will see 17 homegrown tea and lifestyle brands showcasing new collections (some inspired by local hawker drinks and Singapore neighbourhoods), signature blends and tea-inspired wares. ‘Teapitiam’, a pop-up café, will be offering classic bites alongside modern reinventions for a uniquely Singaporean feast. Also, check out the diverse tea-themed workshops and the rich history of the beloved aromatic brew at the Tea Museum. Have a sneak peek of whats in store.

Sunset Social Market

For the first time ever, the popular Social Market by Open Farm Community will be holding their fair later in the day, for the first sunset social of the series. Specially curated around Singaporean’s favourite pastimes – eating and shopping, this special edition will bring together up and coming artisanal bakers, gourmet grocers, small-batch producers and modern-day hawkers for you to feast away. The two-day market will also be grounds to a myriad of community activities, from cocktail masterclasses to flower crown workshops.

The Straits Times’ Concert in the Gardens

Enjoy an evening of melodious music set amongst the lush scenery of the Botanic Gardens. The Singapore Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Jason Lai, will be playing a repertoire of beloved classics that are sure to sooth the soul.

Singapore Science Festival

Celebrate the innovation and creativity of science at the month-long Singapore Science Festival. Themed ‘Future Health’, this scientific extravaganza promises a plethora of programmes, including the unveiling of cutting-edge developments in the world of science, a show of wacky and fascinating projects and a magical science show featuring crushing tin cans, an AIRzooka and exploding soap bubbles.

Wallpaper* Handmade on Tour 2017

Celebrating the creative and diverse spirit of Singapore’s design scene and its rapid development into a design destination, Wallpaper* presents Wallpaper* Handmade On Tour 2017. Presented in partnership with DesignSingapore Council, a host of carefully curated one-off works by international design, artisan and manufacturing talents fresh from its recent debut in Milan will be on display at Gillman Barracks.
