This one is for all the floral arrangement enthusiasts and flower lovers out there. Do you wish your pretty Christmas wreaths, CNY blooms and Valentine's Day bouquets could last forever? Well they actually can, if they are made with preserved flowers!
Preserved flowers are flowerheads or blooms that have been dipped in gcerine or alcohol and submerged in silica gel to dehydrate. The process allows the petals to retain moisture and look as fresh as its original condition. Dyes are then added to boost the flower's vibrant colours and when properly cared for, these flowers can last as long (if not longer) than conventional air-dried flowers.

Preserved flowers often come without stems, but they can be easily hotglued to a piece of floral wire when used in arrangements. Aside from looking like fresh flowers, the other great thing about preserved flowers is that there are also hacks to make flower buds transform into a full bloom.
There's a growing trend of homeowners and interior designers including moss walls (which are preserved in a similar way) and preserved blooms to their interior decor, so now we're sharing our contact of this wholesaler, who has been supplying to many local makers of preserved bouquets and moss walls.
How to get to Lee Flora?
Lee Flora is located close to Aljunied MRT and Macpherson MRT station along the Circle Line. It's situated among the blocks of industrial buildings at LTC. Once you're there, head to Building C, and take the lift to the third floor (full address at end of article). There are no signages so look out for a nondescript door.
Upon entering, you are immediately transported into a literal wonderland of floral offerings. Every inch of the walls and even ceiling is filled with a dizzying array of preserved and dried flowers. These range from the common baby's breath, to huge heads of hyancinths and stalks of pampas grass.
Dried Flowers
There are shelves of preserved flowers and moss to choose from, including vases, glass jars and other trinkets for you to decorate a terrarium. Aside from dried and preserved flowers, you can also find a good assortment of realistic looking faux flowers.

Floral Arrangement Help
Need some inspiration on creating your own arrangements? Owner Mr Lee is always on hand to offer advice and help. However, do take note that the warehouse is rather cramped, so it's best to have an idea of what you need to get before you visit.
Otherwise, chances are likely that you'll simply be overwhelmed by the variety and get distracted. What's more, with only a couple of helpers around, it takes him some time to tally up your purchase (PayLah and Cash), so do be patient when checking out your buys.
