REVIEW: Bose SoundSport Free

Get unknotted: The Bose SoundSport Free is a pair of wireless earbuds designed for hassle-free use during workouts or daily commutes.

Out of the box
: Each of the 2.8cm-high earbuds houses an antennae system that connects the two with each other, and also to the device it is paired to. Before using,
you need to download the Bose Connect App, which works like
a remote control. It allows you
to connect to the earbuds via Bluetooth, check their battery life and locate them if misplaced with the “Find My Buds” feature. The earbuds come in a sleek matte case that is also a charging unit. They are securely held within their magnetic slots and last up to five hours when fully charged, with
the charging case providing two additional full charges.

User experience
: We put the earbuds to the test on a 15km cycling trip to East Coast Park. Once worn, they did not budge. They also felt comfortable. The battery lasted far longer
than expected, and Bluetooth connection was stellar even from a 9m distance.

The Bose SoundSport Free retails at $319 at authorised Bose dealers. Find out more at www.bose.sg.

Best Vase Forward

Vases have long lent a supporting role to flowers, literally and figuratively, while the blooms stole the show. Vase designs are no longer playing second fiddle and are now making a statement. We love the cool options like moulded earthenware, to a designer piece that allows individual flowers to be stylishly displayed.

The Great Outdoors

Versatile outdoor furniture makes perfect sense when you want to take advantage of our balmy tropical weather for an afternoon under the sun. We love Janus et Cie’s latest Hatch range, a teak collection of chairs and lounges designed as an
ode to sailing, by Michael Vanderbyl. Sustainably grown premium teak is crafted to replicate the traditional hatch of yachts, and paired with a sleek frame finish to reference the gleaming masts.
