NEXT-GEN WHITES
Are you a purist who loves tone-on-tone shades? Thanks to their ability to make a room feel brighter, cleaner and airier, varying shades of white have become huge since the pandemic.
Responding to this trend, Caesarstone has introduced the Whitelight Collection of different whites and light neutral tones.
The 5112 Attera Blanca and 5171 Arabetto take their cues from natural stones by serving white-on-white and white-on-light grey patterns that look convincingly natural.
Want to add some warmth? The 5114 Calacatta Maximus (pictured) combines a pure white marble-inspired base with warm neutrals and copper veins, while 5222 Adamina features a soft peachy undertone inspired by sandstone.
The Caesarstone Whitelight Collection is available in Singapore from mid-September. Request for samples at www.caesarstone.sg or visit the Caesarstone Experience Centre at #03-357 Suntec City Mall, Tower 3.

Each artwork comprises hand-torn Japanese washi paper, laid out and sandwiched between two layers of linen fabric in different colours. There are five designs in this first collection, produced in a limited run of four unique pieces each, with more limited edition collections to follow.
Each Karasando artwork retails for $599 at Grafunkt. Visit www.grafunkt.com for more information.
TAKE FLIGHT
What’s better than learning via playing? Fly-A-Way is an educational competitive, family-friendly strategy board game that’s all about helping migratory birds cross the East Asian-Australian Flyway (EAAF) to reach their destination safely.
Designed by creatives from local design consultancy Tuber, the game garnered international support from 891 backers who pledged more than $53,000 in Kickstarter last year thanks to its carefully researched story, beautiful illustrations and exciting gameplay.
It is suitable for two to four players aged 10 and above and typically runs from 45 to 90 minutes, just nice for family bonding time.
Fly-A-Way retails for $65 from www.playlogue.sg as well as selected retailers.
